Fireflies at 3 am written by Danni Thomas. This book will come under the new genre which is called shoetry.


This is the book which is filled with lots of beautifully written very short poems and some short stories and that is why the genre is called the shoetry. The book has a beautiful cover image and the inner poems are also so well written.

The poems are very short but the words and their meanings are really presented very well. The picture that presented along with the poems are looking so calming and also gives us a soothing feeling, that is the kind of feel I will be expecting while I am reading the poetry book in general. The poems are about all topics such as love, relationship, pain, mental health, loneliness, happy etc. There is one poem which is called 'We' that is simple yet written so beautifully.

The language presented in this shoetry is simple and easy so this book will be for sure be able to read by the absolute beginners in the poetry genre. The idea of merging both the poems and the short story is good and also it really works well in this shoetry read. I love the book.

 H ow did my book-reading journey started When I was a little girl I used to see lots of regional books filled the entire shelf of my dad's room. He is very generous and will always allow me to touch those books but I was not allowed with the pen or pencil into that room. Of course due to some damage control preservation. Whenever I enter that room the old book presented in that room will give me a warm hug through its dedicated book smell. So whenever I entered that room I used to sniff those book's wonderful smell and will open those books and there I could find the coffee-stained color inner pages. Tales of Unstoppable Women written by Dr Urmi Thakker . The idea of creating such a book is really appreciatable. The cover looks very impressive and the images given inside the book too. About the book: This book is not a fiction or regular storybook. This book is a collection of short stories and that too not a fiction one its about the women who struggled but succeeded in their life and fulfilled their dreams. The book has the total number of seven stories and each story are about fifteen to twenty pages. The story covers the women and her life from different levels and how she fulfilled the dreams.
