 A Love Jihad Story: Can Love Be Our Religion? Written by Souwmiya Dhinesh. This book will come under the romantic story genre.



The cover of the book is the one which really urged me to choose this book. The story line of the book can be easily judged by the cover and the title.

The main protagonist of the story is Aditi, she falls in love with Sameer a Muslim guy. They both were different in their religion so in order to marry Sameer she has to change her religion. What are her life struggles due to this love? So the story revolves around this particular core circle alone.

This book really has taken a good place on my current favorite. The author has taken the most sensitive issue and presented it as a story. The cover of the book has definitely added beauty to the story. The story is heart touching and also painful when the love jihad and patriarchy got entered. I felt the struggles and pain are real when I am reading it. The story is really needed and the eye opening one for sure. The narration and word choice are very simple and easy to read.


This book is a must read for all teenagers or female readers. I like this book for sure.

 H ow did my book-reading journey started When I was a little girl I used to see lots of regional books filled the entire shelf of my dad's room. He is very generous and will always allow me to touch those books but I was not allowed with the pen or pencil into that room. Of course due to some damage control preservation. About the book: This book is not a fiction or regular storybook. This book is a collection of short stories and that too not a fiction one its about the women who struggled but succeeded in their life and fulfilled their dreams.
