A Proof of Truth written by Annapurna Saripalli. This book will come under the thriller genre.


The book cover is good and also gave us a hint of the plot a bit. This is a book which has lots of legal and investigation kind of thriller.

The main protagonist of the story is Ajay Bharghav and he is an advocate by profession and so does his father Ashok Mehta. He got married to Tavishi without his father's will and is now settled abroad with his two kids. After seven years of his successful marriage, he came back to Mumbai and his fathers too spoke with him and ask him to do the favor which is to take the case of famous actor Kishor Mehta's son Vishal's murder and sexual assault case. He was accused that he murdered Nithya Harde who is also Vishal's lover. Did Vishal kill his own lover? What really happened to Nithya Harde? Mr. Bharghav will take this case and also find the true murderer? To know what happens next do read the book.

This is a simple and fast phased legal thriller. The way the murder case investigation goes is really very thrilling to read. More than a thriller this book also has more emotions and feeling in it. The way of questioning and the investigation done by Mr Bharghav is one of the best and favorite parts of the book. The bond between the mom and Ajay and his wife and kids is shown here and there which is so heart touching. The language is simple and easy for beginners.

If you are an avid thriller read this will be a decent read for you. A very good read.

 H ow did my book-reading journey started When I was a little girl I used to see lots of regional books filled the entire shelf of my dad's room. He is very generous and will always allow me to touch those books but I was not allowed with the pen or pencil into that room. Of course due to some damage control preservation. Whenever I enter that room the old book presented in that room will give me a warm hug through its dedicated book smell. About the book: This book is not a fiction or regular storybook. This book is a collection of short stories and that too not a fiction one its about the women who struggled but succeeded in their life and fulfilled their dreams.
