Book Review : Why should I worry when I can face the world? by Shibu Nair.
Why should I worry when I can face the world? written by Shibu Nair.
The title of the book is loud and clear, it gives us a good idea of the genre, content, and core message of the book. This is a self-help book that provides tips and tricks to lead a happy and peaceful life, but it does so in a unique way and not in the typical non-fiction self-help style.
The idea behind the book seems simple and easy to follow. It guides us toward success and happiness through its pages. I really liked how the content was structured. It begins with the topic of gratitude, and then smoothly moves into the main lessons.
This self-help book talks about the power of gratitude, the signs of success, the value of forgiveness, overcoming embarrassment and more. What I liked most is that it doesn’t just talk about the usual topics, it also touches on lesser-known areas that we often ignore. For example, how not letting embarrassment will positively impact you or how gossip and rumors can sometimes be signs of success etc. At the end of each chapter, there is a section called 'Activity' where the author gives readers simple and practical tasks to follow in daily life. I also appreciated the quotes presented at the beginning of each chapter which help set the tone for the lessons that follow.
The narration feels very friendly, as if a close friend is giving us tips and life lessons through real-life stories or incidents. I found many short stories throughout the book, which serve as perfect examples for the lessons being taught in each chapter. The language used in this book is extremely simple, clear and easy to understand. Overall a soothing read.
