Blog Post : The Unexpected Thing That Changed My Creativity in 2025
In this post, I am going to share the unexpected thing that changed my creativity in 2025. If you saw my previous post I mentioned that this year I started something new and discovered a new version of myself. In this post, you will find the reason behind it.
I felt very unlucky this year until
the end of August, as my days felt repetitive and were not going well. One day in
the last days of December, I received a message on Instagram from my fellow Bookstagrammer,
inviting me to an author meet that was held in Chennai. At first, I neglected
the message and thought of rejecting the invitation but somehow she convinced
me to attend. Even until the day of the event, I was a little skeptical about
attending it.
I felt shy about facing the world and kept thinking that I was not beautiful or confident enough to show my face to everyone. However, she was very sweet and encouraged me to attend the meet.
When I attended the author’s meet,
the people were extremely kind and welcoming. Most importantly they boosted my
confidence by telling me that I have good vocabulary and pronunciation and that
I could even post reel book reviews and other book-related content on my Instagram.
After reaching home, I thought about
everything that had happened and tried to shoot a reel of myself reviewing a
book. It didn’t turn out well initially as I felt camera-shy. However, with
lots of practice and inner strength I finally filmed a reel review of the book
in Tamil and posted it. Unfortunately, due to a technical glitch the post had
to be deleted from my page.
Even so, I now have confidence in
myself and I will soon start my new avatar of posting reel reviews and bookish
content on my feed.
