'Mahanbharata' written by NS RAVI. I wanted to try this book that is based on Indian mythology (I guessed before buying the book).
If you watch closely the title is not Mahabharatha its 'Mahanbharata'. So if you are looking for the traditional epic Mahabharatha you are wrong because this one is a fictional modern story with the little Mahabharatha touch.

There are two stories which were present in this book, both are fictional and said and presented at the same time (which I felt like the different attempt).
In both the stories, there is one thing in common which is both are women's revenge story. In the first story, the revenge was narrated by the Bhishma and it happened in the epic and the women want to destroy the kingdom Hastinapura. In the second story, the character Badra takes revenge on the congress party.
Both are the two different stories and in the second story the 1919 Muslim act, the Hindu Muslim issue and all these were talked in detail and some political kind of revenge.
The stories are being narrated side by side. The attempt of combining both the stories at the same time is good but somehow on a 'kindle', I felt little confusing that I have the reread the same paragraph again to understand. This book pages may look less but it's a slow read. It's not possible to complete it on the one sitting. Overall its good read during the quarantine time.
I like:
1. The cover picture (but it is suitable for story one)
2. The way the author narrates two stories at the same time
3. Felt different genre reading effect.
It's a good book but needs the patience to read and complete it as the book is a slow read. I quite like it.
