"Cross Connection" written by Preety Praveen. This book has a simple title and a sweet cover.
Most of us think writing the love story is easy for an author but I personally feel it is tuff because making others to feel the same emotion as us with the words is not an easy work. In this book, the author nailed it.
The story too had a cross connection in it. The main protagonists are Simar who is a Punjabi girl, Naveen a Kerala boy studying engineering. There were also many important characters as Inder, Roop, Harjeet, Ridhi.
Simar is a normal Punjabi girl she completes her 12th and due to their parent's dream, she came to Salem for her BDS studies. She had many best friends but somehow they all left her one time and at last, she becomes close with her roommate Ridhi. When Simar was doing her BDS she met a Naveen, with whom she always had a flight in the beginning but later the fight turns into love (as it justifies the title). She was happy and enjoying love. All the sudden Naveen has to go abroad for his studies. He too went and came back, the story didn't end, the destiny play of her life started.
What is that destiny game? Does she again have to lose him as she lost her friends? Or the love of fate is different? please read the book till its climax to know more.

My review:
I like the liveliness in the characters, that's the first and the best thing I have noticed and loved in this book. The way the author takes the story is really good. The destiny of love and the feel of love which I got from this book is very very good. The language is simple and easy to read. There is no unwanted exaggeration or the page filler in this book (I am quite surprised for this from the debut author). Overall I can feel the emotion in the words and that's the victory of the writer.
I like:
1. The very cute character introduction
2. The story narration.
3. The simple language.
4. The feeling which I got after reading this.
I got a taste of love in like sip by sip on every page. Do try to this book to get the same feel like which I got.
