FROSTED GLASS written by Sabarna Roy. This book is a little long but a good read.

I like the author's work and this is my third book and read from this author.

About the book:

This book is a mixture of both short stories and poems. It has a total number of fourteen short stories and twenty one poems in total. The one thing which is common in all the short stories is it all the stories are focused on one character which is Rahul, his life, his love, his desire and all the short stories are surrounder by him. The stories even speak about the rape, extramarital affair, sexual desires etc. The story is set us in Kolkata and the poems are all also presented very well.

My review:This book is a different short storybook because in each short stories there is the content number and it has some divisions into it. The stories are not too short so the meaning and the reading are very clear. The vocabulary used for describing the situation perfectly justifies its purpose. The poems are named and presented very well and poems are sweet and short to read as well. Each story is about different women into it along with Rahul and I totally felt this book as the unique one from which I have read so far.

I like:
1. The cover (it looks so vintage and I absolutely love it).
2. The vocabulary which is very good
3. The detailed short stories

I never read the book which has a mixture of short stories and the poems and I really like this book. I recommend this book for sure.

 H ow did my book-reading journey started When I was a little girl I used to see lots of regional books filled the entire shelf of my dad's room. He is very generous and will always allow me to touch those books but I was not allowed with the pen or pencil into that room. Of course due to some damage control preservation. Tales of Unstoppable Women written by Dr Urmi Thakker . The idea of creating such a book is really appreciatable. The cover looks very impressive and the images given inside the book too. About the book: This book is not a fiction or regular storybook. This book is a collection of short stories and that too not a fiction one its about the women who struggled but succeeded in their life and fulfilled their dreams. The book has the total number of seven stories and each story are about fifteen to twenty pages. The story covers the women and her life from different levels and how she fulfilled the dreams.
