Against Time and Destiny: Angst ridden mafia romance written by Alka Dimri Saklani. This book will come under the fictional genre.


The book title looks very intresting and also more suitable for the story. The cover image looks very plain for its content.

The main protagonists of the story are Samarth Ahuja and Pihu. Pihu is kind hearted and also a person who is very strong mentally whereas Samarth is someone who is very cold hearted and the literal opposite to Pihu. As the standard love the two opposite poles are attracted to each other and then there comes the pain, betrayal, and even the good twist in the story. In order to know what happened next do read the book.

The male character in the book somehow reminds me the cold hearted mafia lawyer I use to see in the web series. The whole book itself a pure fiction and you will be feeling like that you are watching the series all these times. This is a love story that shows the pain of the betrayal and the sadness with some little thriller hints. The book has the chapter name which is named by the two main characters. The chapters are very small so it makes the reading experiences even easier. The language and the narration are really rich and easy.

If you like the love story which you find in the thriller series then don't miss this book. A good read.

 H ow did my book-reading journey started When I was a little girl I used to see lots of regional books filled the entire shelf of my dad's room. He is very generous and will always allow me to touch those books but I was not allowed with the pen or pencil into that room. Of course due to some damage control preservation. About the book: This book is not a fiction or regular storybook.
