Loving you Twice (Jasmine Villa Book 2) by Andaleeb Wajid

Loving you Twice (Jasmine Villa Book 2) written by Andaleeb Wajid. This book will come under the romantic genre.

The book title is simple but also at the same time suitable for the Jasmine Villa series theme, as the title suggests this is the second part of the whole series. The book cover looks absolutely stunning and it gives that cozy 90s and 80s vibe that made me absolutely love this.

As I said earlier this book is the second part of the Jasmine Villa series, but you can read this book as a standalone as well and you won't get any unfulfilled kind of feel for sure because the author has beautifully divided its parts in such a manner. There are three sisters Tehzeeb, Ana, and Athiya and this entire series is about each one of these sisters' love story in each book. The book "Loving you Twice" is about the second/middle sister "Ana Hasan" and her love and marriage.

The storyline of this book is so simple and neat. Ana has a crush on  Luqman Ahmed, the friend of his brother-in-law and so does he. They both have the love feel on each other but both of them have not expressed to each other as well. On a flight journey where  Ana goes to a conference and Luqman is on a business trip, where they both coincidently have to sit next to each other on their journey, they talked and discuss a lot about each other. Do you think the love is going to bloom as simple as that? No, when Ana returns her father found her a groom and she too accepts the same as she didn't confess her feelings to Luqman, then starts the twist in the story with the emotions such as love, siblings bonding, societal pressure, and so on.

I love Andaleeb's romantic and contemprory books and this is not my first read from this author.  This book too has the same elements that I found in her other romantic novels. This book has a contemprory and subtle love story without any unbelievable dramatic scenes. The story revolves around the love in a conservative family and I can feel the reality in the book. The charcters are presented neatly and the narration is slowly phased without any rush (Which I really loved in this book). Though this book is about Ana both of her sisters also play quite an important role in that story and this kind of sister bonding makes the reading lively. In addition, the author has beautifully presented to us the societal pressure for marriage, aunties' interfaces, etc beautifully. But one thing that lacks in this book is an adequate funny element. If the author could have added that it will be an even more blissful read.

This a lite read with simple and lucid vocabulary.  As with all her book this book too has small chapters (each chapters are barely 3 to 4 pages) so the reading was easy and comfortable. This book will give a cozy feel while reading and for sure it will also make us feel a little sad for a few pages. After reading this book I am intruded to read the story about the third sister. Since the book is a cozy read, it's a perfect read for the monsoon season reads.

Now who can read this book:

It can be read by everyone. Especially those who love romantic stories, cozy and comfortable reading, lite read, and contemprory romantic lovers should try this book for sure.
