Blog : My Favorite Literary Couple
When it comes to romantic genre books I am pretty sure that I can say that have tried different types and varieties of romances. Since I have read many I come across various couples, some were so soft, some were wild, some were lovely, some were frightful, some were evil, highly possessive and this list never ends. So in this blog, I am going to say my 'Favorite Literary Couple'.
Classic novels are one such which makes us travel to that place and era while we are reading them. I have read quite an amount of classics and I love some couples and I hate few as well.
My favorite literary couple is 'Macbeth and Lady Macbeth' (don't be shocked). I love Romeo and Juliet as well but somehow this literary couple from Macbeth hits some special part in my heart and I will let you know why.
When it comes to love I will most probably expect it to be deep and that couple should have the same taste/alignment or connect within themselves when they both were in love with each other. In William Shakespeare's Macbeth, I kind of felt that deep connection between the main character Macbeth and Lady Macbeth.
In this Classic play 'Macbeth', Lady Macbeth is the one who nags and influences her husband to murder King Duncan and makes him seize his crown. Macbeth who has deep love with his wife does the same and later after his wife dies (of course due to her bad intentions) the power of Macbeth vanishes along with his dead wife and he becomes weakened as well, which leads to his exposition of crime and later he died. In this play the love between Lady Macbeth and Macbeth is so intense it can make him kill anyone or even lose his sense and that is the reason why they are my favorite literary couple.
