Book Review: Cupid's Serenade

Cupid's Serenade written by Kristina Stangl. This book will come under the romance genre with the mytho characters.

The book has a suitable and catchy title for all romance readers. The cover image gives a vintage vibe with its font and color choices, it soothes me whenever I look at it
.
The book has a beautiful story and it is so hard to provide the story's outline without breaking its suspense and inner vibe but let me try that. The main protagonist of this story is Kordelia Silverheart a cupid (Yes you have read it right). Kordelia is the daughter of  Aphrodite and Ares and her job is creating love since she is a cupid. This time her new task/ mission is to find a love for Dr. Peter. Peter is also a protagonist of this story and he is against love due to his bitter and bad experiences he hates love and even hates to love. So in order to find him a love she goes to the masquerade ball and there both Kordelia and Peter meet each other after this, the story starts its twist and thriller. Do read this book to know further about what happens in their life.

I am someone who refrains from reading mythology stories often because I personally feel that mythology-based books have little complicated word choices, but in this book, I enjoyed this mythology and romance mixed story. The narration is not at all clumsy or complex and is written with absolute clarity.  The author had a very clear vision of what she wanted in her story I guess because all the minute details mentioned in the story were describing that to us. The concept of Cupid's love is so good and I can find all the different shades of love in this one single book. As a romance genre lover, I surely approve this book to all romace genre readers as well. The book is on quite heavy side so will take at least a week to complete reading it if you are someone who reads with breaks. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book.
