Book Review: Breath of a Wandering City Leaf by Kartikey Grover

Breath of a Wandering City Leaf written by Kartikey Grover. This book will come under the poetry genre.

The book title, its inner content, and the cover image all are made of each other. Let us appreciate the beautiful and aesthetic-looking cover image of this book first.

I am someone who loves to try a beautiful and short poetry book once every month and for this month I chose his poetry book. The poems presented in this cover the small tiny details and emotions that we face in the day to day life such as taking a little break from watch (that is our everyday routine life), rain, feelings of dancing, heartbeat, etc.

Out of all I love the poem that is titled 'A crispy caffeinated Affair' It was a short one but written wonderfully. The poems in this book don't follow any format they just follow the anthology format. This is the first time I am trying an anthology of genres in poems with a mixed topic and I am quite surprised also I loved it at the same time. The poetry in this book is so beginner-friendly and can be easily read almost beginner in the poetry as well. I like the author's idea of providing us a short and brief outline of each and every poem at the beginning of the book under the title 'Short Notes'. For a nice and cozy evening, this book will be the perfect read.
