Book Review: GARBH SANSKAR by JUHI SOHAL

One thing that I’ve noticed recently, which has been the case for nearly a decade, is that people are making pregnancy seem like a tough task that needs to be achieved with lots of plans and strategies. However, I personally feel that pregnancy should be welcomed and endured with a calm and enjoyable mindset. I feel that this cover image somehow reflects and aligns with my perspective, and that is the main reason I chose this book to read.
Who doesn't love babies? One cannot help but adore their lovely smiles, giggles, tiny hands and toes—the list goes on and on. Just imagine if all babies were healthy and strong, both physically and mentally. Who wouldn't love that? This is one such book that guides us on the path and reveals secrets to giving birth to genius children through ancient, step-by-step wisdom.
The book takes us on a journey through the ancient secrets of a wonderful pregnancy, focusing on Ananya, who has the typical busy and hectic life that many of us experience these days. It shows how she changed her life with the help of an ancient guru and experienced calm refreshing, relaxed pregnancy days. The book is written in a step-by-step style, which is very easy to follow and will be incredibly useful for women during pregnancy, as they often feel anxious and dull during this time.
One thing I loved about this book is that the mother is given equal importance as the baby. It also beautifully addresses postpartum care and the lifestyle a woman should maintain during pregnancy, using detailed and elaborate descriptions. The book doesn’t just focus on childbirth; it also guides the mother through the early stages of her child's life. There is a chapter titled "Power of Breath," which explains the importance and miracles of proper breathing. Everyone, including both men and women, can follow these steps to maintain a calm mindset. That was my favorite chapter in the entire book, as it made me feel relaxed even while reading it.
This book is not only for women; men and everyone else can also benefit from it. It provides valuable insights into childbirth and child-rearing. More than just a guide to pregnancy and childbirth, this book can inspire a positive change and mindset in its readers.
